Many people think Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a one-session treatment—but in reality, achieving natural-looking results takes time.

✨ Most clients require 2–4 sessions, depending on their hair density, skin type, and the result they’re looking to achieve. Pigment is built gradually, allowing each session to heal before adding more density where needed.

Another common question is, “How long does it last?”

SMP isn’t permanent forever. Most results stay looking great for around 3–5 years, after which a colour refresh may be recommended. Factors such as sun exposure, skin type, lifestyle and aftercare can all influence how long the pigment retains its appearance.

SMP can be a great option for:
• Men and women with thinning hair
• Diffuse hair loss
• Certain alopecia cases
• Hair transplant patients wanting to improve the appearance of density or soften visible donor-area scarring
