These are the products I personally used during my postpartum hair journey.
Not because they magically regrew my hair, but because they supported my scalp and gave me the best chance of healthy hair growth.
Does anyone want some more scalp serum/ supplement recs?
Formula:
Roots Diacolor 5
Ends dialight 1/2 5 half matte booster
Got sent this little box a while ago now and I’ve been desperate to try it, I was SO impressed.
The hair felt light, airy, each strand felt thicker but with no obvious build up. The product says to keep using and the more you use the better results so would be good to keep going and see how it is!
Feels good to be back doing hair after 10ish months off work 🤰
Moni got married last year so we were very tame on the lead up, so I love hearing she had a fun year experimenting with her hair!
This is the issue with red though, it’s fun but it can be a pain with the fading. I actually ended up using a green colour on the ends to neutralise who wants to see the result?
A little reminder: don’t be too hard on yourself 🤍
I’m sharing what helped me through postpartum hair shedding, but I’m definitely not perfect.
It took me time to get back into focusing on my diet, looking after myself, and creating healthier habits and even now I’m still not 100% consistent.
The goal is to do what you can, when you can, and giving your body the support it needs, not to be perfect!
Post partum can be tough so be kind to yourself 🩷
I’ve had my some of Instagram audience for over six years, and a lot of you are clients and amazing online support.
I see all the comments and familiar faces and I know you all genuinely spend your money on my recommendations, so here’s why I said no to paid postpartum hair growth ads.
I’d rather lose a brand deal than lose your trust 🤍
How to shop for a heat protector
Creams/ sprays - wet hair (use every time)
Aerosols - dry hair (restyling)
Oils - secondary benefit
The main one here for me is lifting to the correct undercoat! Who wants the toner formula? 😛
Remember the GHD rise is a hot tool NOT a Blowdry brush so dry hair only!
