Behind the doctors you meet at SE1, there are extraordinary individuals whose commitment to medicine extends far beyond our clinic doors.

For our very own Dr Lorenzo Garagnani MBE, that means a lifelong dedication to hand surgery, the NHS and, perhaps most importantly, the incredible people who become so much more than colleagues along the way.

A wonderful evening bringing together some of the Guy’s and St Thomas’ orthopaedic hand surgery family. Consultant Hand Surgeons Sam Gidwani Sam Gidwani and Alex Vaughan, current Hand Surgery Fellow Mira Pecheva Mira Pecheva and former Fellow Kalpesh Vaghela, now a Consultant Upper Limb Surgeon at The Royal London Hospital.

What makes friendships like this so special is not simply their surgical expertise. It is the years of working & supporting one another through challenges, training the next generation and sharing an unwavering commitment to caring for NHS patients.

Public service creates a bond that goes far beyond the operating theatre. Colleagues become friends, mentors become family, and that sense of unity lasts long after careers take different paths.

A huge thank you to Sam and his wonderful wife for hosting such a fabulous afternoon and bringing everyone together. And a special mention to the phenomenal private chef Joel White Joel White whose exceptional food made the evening even more memorable. Highly, highly recommended! 👨‍🍳👏

We are delighted to welcome Dr Pan as our 10th Aesthetic Doctor, further strengthening our distinguished team of GMC registered medical professionals.

A little about Dr Pan...

🥼 Dr Pan is a highly skilled surgeon in training and aesthetic doctor, working as an orthopaedic registrar in a busy trauma unit alongside her aesthetics practice.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 She gained her medical qualification from Cardiff University, as well as a Global Health BSc with First Class Honours from UCL, and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS).

💉 She qualified in medical aesthetics through the British Aesthetics Academy. Her research has been published in peer reviewed journals and presented at national surgical conferences. Alongside her clinical and aesthetic work, she is an elected council member of the British Medical Association and a Surgical Trainee Representative for London.

🔪 Her surgical background gives her a precise, practical understanding of facial anatomy, which she brings directly into her aesthetic work. She has been trained by renowned plastic surgeons in a tertiary centre for plastic and reconstructive surgery in North West London as part of her surgical training. Dr Pan takes a careful, considered approach with every patient, taking the time to understand what they want to achieve before recommending treatments with a focus on natural, confidence boosting results. She particularly enjoys getting to know her patients well, offering tailored, pragmatic advice based on their individual routines.

🐶 🏃 📖 In her very little free time, she enjoys running, reading and walking her dog. Dr Pan looks forward to meeting you and discussing how she can help you look and feel your best.
