Over the years, the natural asymmetry had become more noticeable, so I used a small amount of filler to improve the balance while keeping her natural lip shape.
And yes, swelling during and straight after injecting is completely normal. One side may even swell more than the other, but this will gradually subside as the lips settle.

Some scars respond really well to microneedling, others may need resurfacing and sometimes a combination of treatments will give the best result.
