Second balayage session on seriously thick hair! 🤎

Building up the blonde gradually, lifting through the warmer lengths while keeping natural depth at the roots for a softer grow out.

We went for a rich chocolate balayage, adding subtle dimension through the darker base while keeping everything glossy and beautifully blended.

And we already have a plan for where we’re taking her colour next… which makes it even more exciting. 🤎

Freshened up the existing balayage with a brighter money piece around the face, while keeping that soft, warm dimension and natural root blend.

Maria was more than ready to go lighter AND lose some length ✂️🤍

Full head of foils to brighten everything up, fresh colour and treatment, followed by a proper big chop to bring the shape and condition back.

Finished with an Italian blowout for that soft, bouncy finish.

Oh, what a day we had getting my girl Joanne as bright as her hair would safely allow 🤍

What started as a blonding appointment turned into a proper colour correction. Joanne takes amazing care of her hair, but its natural frizz, kink and varying porosity meant different areas were lifting completely differently.

We did back-to-back foils over the entire head. The application alone took THREE HOURS. This was honestly such a complex, hands on appointment that taking process photos didn’t even enter my head. 😅

Her hair was still in good condition when we finished, but I wasn’t prepared to push it any further just to reach the final colour in one sitting. Hair condition will always come first.

We’re not quite at my finished colour yet, so she’ll be back in a week for her next toner and treatment.

Monika and I have done a few versions of blonde over the years. From all over blonde to slightly darker, but she doesn’t like having to come back too often for colour refreshes, and keeping her hair in good condition is always the priority.

So this time we went for my favourite blonde placement 🤍 A lived in blonde that works with her natural darker root, with plenty of brightness around the face and through the ends.

She still feels properly blonde, just without the high maintenance regrowth.

Dark brunette, but with a little light in all the right places 🤎

A soft balayage with a brighter ch*****ne beige money piece to frame the face, while keeping plenty of rich brunette depth through the rest. High contrast, but beautifully blended for a softer grow out.

Global bleach and a complete change from where we started 🤍

Lifting out the previous dark colour and natural salt & pepper greys to create this soft, smoky silver lilac finish. On short hair, global bleach gives us that clean, all over result while the darker shadow underneath keeps the cut looking defined.
