If you turn up to a waxing appointment with this type of skin I can guarantee you won't get the best from your waxing appointment. As little hairs get trapped under the dead skin so get missed when waxed. It's not until they get big enough to get through those dead layers that you notice them or they grow under your skin flat. So it LOOKS like you have hair but it's actually under your skin!

If you can't see the little bulb at the end you haven't got the hair from the root, meaning your wax won't last as long.

Over time with regular waxs the root becomes weakened and damaged meaning it will look smaller and it will be easier to wax out.
If you have strong thick hair or are a newbie to waxing the root can be so strong it has it own blood supply meaning you may see small spotting of blood after a wax. But don't worry it's completely normal and with regular waxing it will stop!
