We often get questions about tingle creams and if it will be right for your skin type so here's some extra info!💬

🔥They usually contain ingredients such as benzyl nicotinate or methyl nicotinate. These ingredients temporarily widen tiny blood vessels near the surface of your skin, causing
•Increased blood flow to the skin
•A warm/tingling sensation
•Temporary redness/itching
•Potentially enhanced melanin production during UV exposure

🤎Tingles can help to deepen and darken your tan, we often recommend them once you hit a tanning plateau, but always start on a mild one!

❌When you shouldn’t use a tingle…
•New to tanning
•People with sensitive skin
•If you burn easily
•Have eczema, rosacea or any other inflammatory skin conditions

It’s a fairly common misconception amongst sunbed users.
❌“The hotter the bed, the better the tan!”❌

Its a common misconception than a hotter bed will tan you better than a cooler one, when actually a cooler environment leads to a deeper longer lasting tan🌞

When a sunbed is too hot, you sweat. Which means that lotions you've just applied to help you tan will not soak in. The redness you see is just the blood rising to the surface tryin to cool your skin, it doesn't lead to a tan.

Cooler temperatures allow better oxygen glow to your skin, this supports better melanin production.
