Looking through these photos made us realise something quite special.

It’s the same seat, in the same training centre, photographed from almost exactly the same angle. But every person who has sat there has brought a completely different story with them.

Some arrived as complete beginners, ready to change careers and finally follow a passion they had been thinking about for years.

Some came while working full-time or part-time elsewhere, slowly building their beauty career alongside their existing job, one treatment and one qualification at a time.

Others were already experienced practitioners, running successful clinics and businesses, but came back into the classroom because they wanted to develop their skills, gain further qualifications and keep progressing.

Different ages. Different backgrounds. Different levels of experience. Different reasons for starting.

But they all sat in the same seat at some point in their journey.

And that’s one of our favourite things about working in education. We don’t just see learners completing treatments and gaining qualifications. We get to see people building confidence, discovering what they’re capable of, changing direction, growing their businesses and creating careers that once existed only as an idea.
