For every £120 a hair salon earns, after VAT, wages, income tax, National Insurance, business rates, products, utilities, and all other costs, we’re left with just £1. And from that, we still have to pay 20% corporation tax—leaving us with just 80p. 💔 This isn’t sustainable. We need change. ✊ 📢 Join us in Parliament Square on 17th March at 1 PM as we demand a fair VAT rate—reducing it from 20% to 10%. The government is losing millions by not acting—let’s make them listen! 🚨 @salonemployersassociation @salon_owners_united_ceo #SaveOurSalons #SupportSalons #FairVATForSalons #edshair
