Jon Kinsey Salon in Leeds was established to bring together three creative and passionate stylists formerly of Vidal Sassoon. Opened in April 2004, Jon Kinsey has thrived thanks not only to the hairdressing talents of the founding team, but also their business drive. The aim of Jon Kinsey Salon is to offer clients the expertise and quality of an international salon at an affordable price. In the relaxed, welcoming environment clients can enjoy an individual and dedicated service on every visit, knowing that their hair cut and colour is safe in the hands of creative, passionate stylists. From the very first days it has been our goal to create a salon environment that is set by our stylists, allowing them to showcase their talents and give clients confidence in their skills. Beautifully Blended Blonde
Ruby came in with a block of blonde that had become quite high maintenance, so Gill used a reverse balayage to bring back depth and dimension, before toning the remaining blonde with a cool cedar blonde for a softer, seamless finish.
Teddy completed the look with a layered, face-framing cut and a gorgeous blow-dry to show off the new colour.
The result is a natural-looking blonde that grows out beautifully and is much easier to maintain 🤍

Grey blending, not grey covering 🤍✨
The aim with this colour wasn’t to cover the natural grey, but to work with it.
Using a cool base, strategically placed pre-lightener and a soft Wella /81 toner, we created a seamless blend with brighter, cooler pieces while keeping the hair’s natural dimension.
The result is a softer grow-out, less maintenance and beautifully blended colour that embraces the grey rather than hiding it.

When your client travels 90 miles to see you, you know you’re doing something right! ❤️
Claudia has been coming to Tracey for the past two years, making a 90-mile round trip for her appointments.
Every visit starts with a detailed consultation, allowing Tracey to adapt Claudia’s cut as her hair changes and make sure it continues to work for her.
For this latest look, Tracey used a combination of scissor and razor cutting techniques to create shape and texture, while Gill added a beautiful deep red tone to the front, creating a striking focal point.
