Normally said with a little laugh, almost like an apology. And it makes my heart sink a bit, because what I’m really hearing is someone who’s come so far down their own list that being looked after feels like something they have to earn.

So can I gently say this. You don’t have to justify it. Feeling good in your own skin isn’t vanity, and it’s definitely not selfish. It changes how you feel getting ready in the morning and how you carry yourself all day, and that’s worth more than any price on a treatment 💗

We met during Uni when she became a client of mine (around 2021/2022). We hadn’t been in contact for a few years when she reached out wanting me to do her lashes once again, but this time for her Wedding Day👰🏼‍♀️

I have a sneaky feeling that the MUA did put mascara on the extensions (big sad🥲) but the makeup & lashes looked gorgeous regardless🫶

The trial process:
• Patch test & full consultation discussing how she wants to look and feel (around 4 weeks before)
• Initial trial lashes before her trial makeup to see how they look together
• Discussion about any tweaks or changes (I sent Mel a full green screen video explaining my ideas)
• Fresh set of lashes with the added changes (2 days before the big day)

This set is a little twist on my Colour Match Sets, with her hair colour as our inspiration and some colour theory matched in to make her eyes pop👀

This client gave me the creative freedom to design her a set of Pride Lash extensions for last weekends Leeds Pride Parade🌈

This has to be my favourite part of my job - helping people express themselves💓

I was inspired by ‘bunnylashleeds’ (a good friend of mine) to create this peekaboo rainbow set, with black lashes as the base and the rainbow colours peeking over for the top layers✨
