How they help , without the damage of bleach :

•Neutralizes unwanted tones: After bleaching, hair often looks brassy (yellow/orange). Toners use color theory to cancel those tones

• Enhances brightness: By removing brassiness, the blonde looks cleaner, shinier, and lighter — which makes the hair appear brighter.
• Adds shine & smoothness: Many toners deposit a sheer color and conditioning agents, leaving hair looking more polished.

Types of toners :

•Professional toners (salon): Usually demi-permanent colors applied at the bowl (milkshake are the best in my opinion )

• Glosses & color-depositing masks: Add shine and refresh tone.

What to keep in mind if doing it yourself at home‼️ :

• Over-toning can make hair look dull, gray, or even slightly greenish if the wrong shade is used.

• Since bleached hair is fragile, it’s best to use toners that are ammonia-free or conditioning-based.

• Always deep-condition afterward to restore strength and shine.
