After 5 years of waiting, I’ve finally been offered trauma therapy 🥹

I’ve done so much healing on my own, but I know there are parts of me I still need help understanding on a deeper level.

I cried when I got the call… happy tears this time 🤍

Never thought I’d see the day I loved myself again 🙏🏼🫶🏽

People will hold onto an old version of you because it makes sense to them.

That doesn’t mean you have to keep proving who you are now.

You’re allowed to grow, change, heal, think differently, move differently, and become someone they no longer recognise.

And at some point, you have to stop letting other people’s outdated opinions of you decide how you see yourself.

People are always going to have something to say anyway… so genuinely, f**k it 😂

Be who you are now. Not who they remember you as. 🤍

Been working through ALOT, lots of growth, strengh and resilience 🙌🏽

I’ve now started to implement the knowledge and skills I’ve been learning onto my own life choices and actions. I’ve been witnessing the positive outcomes so now hopefully I can help some others try do the same! ❤️

Oh it’s been a VERY long time since I posted, I actually filmed this nearly a year ago, was looking through my videos and definitely needed to see this today!

I’ve been so focused on the external I realised I was neglecting myself a little, I allowed doubt to affect my thoughts at times when it wasn’t needed, it didn’t steer my off my path but probably made it a little bumpier!

I can often get in my head and think a situation is going to work out worse for me than it ever does!! I now remind myself often “Everything works out in the end!” After every storm the sun will shine, no matter what my brain tells me!

So now I acknowledge the negative thoughts and feelings, then alchemise them into positivity, growth and abundance by reminding myself to have trust and faith that there is something better coming, and there always is 🫶🏽❤️🙌🏽

For such a long time I never saw myself as putting my walls up emotionally, I never realised just how much sitting in resentment and anger was actually blocking me from finding the one thing that I do truly want… which in the end is always love 🥹

To those that are struggling with letting go, try do whatever you need to, get out of the pride, the stubbornness, look inward and let go so you can move forward ❤️

💡Little chat about perception, NOT about religion although it’s mentioned 😅 so many of us look at things differently and we can often lack understanding of the other persons point of view, leading to conflict and arguments 😩

Sometimes stop, pause and think before responding and reacting.

Ask yourself is this person able to see things as I do?

Is there any point continuing if not?
