I’ve had a few new faces around here, so I thought it was probably time I properly said hello!

I’m Pippa, the face behind Face Card Aesthetics 🫶🏼

I qualified as a nurse in 2016 and have spent the last 10 years working across hospital, community and general practice. I later found my way into aesthetics, and Face Card Aesthetics was born ✨

I’m a Registered Nurse, Independent Nurse Prescriber and Aesthetics Practitioner, but outside of the clinic I’m 31, married to my best friend, dog mum to Frank, usually found with a coffee in hand and slightly obsessed with the gym 🤭

Face Card Aesthetics is coming up to its 2nd birthday, which honestly blows my mind. What started as me taking a chance on something I really wanted to do has grown into a little business that I’m incredibly proud of 🥹

A new chapter for Face Card 💉

Since being an Independent Prescriber, I’ve been working on how I can use that qualification beyond my own clinic… so I’m excited to now be offering prescribing services to other aesthetics practitioners and clinics!

Whether you need regular prescription clinics, occasional support or you’re local and need me to drop in, I’ll be offering flexible options depending on what works best for your clinic.

For me, this isn’t just about “getting a prescription”.
Every patient will receive their own face to face consultation and clinical assessment, with prescribing decisions made independently and appropriately 🫡

People have been asking me a lot about bruising lately, especially through the heatwaves. So let’s clear it up!

Bruising doesn’t mean you got a bad injector, whatever the treatment. It means your body reacted completely normally to a needle passing through several layers of skin. Hundreds of tiny vessels live in your face 🤷🏼‍♀️ sometimes the needle catches one, that’s it.

When you bruise, I’m just as gutted as you are. I don’t enjoy seeing you leave with one, even when I’ve done everything right.

If bruising would put you off, injectables might not be for you right now. But the good news (!) it’s only ever temporary ✨
