Our Story:

Libertines(formally Esquires) is a newly refurbished and rebranded gentlemen's hair salon owned by David and Kim Clements. David had been renting a chair in Esquires since July 2014 and then decided to buy the salon in November 2015. The salon continued under the name of Esquires until late June of 2016 before closing for a complete refit and rebrand. After approximately a month of hard work, set backs, dedication and searching for the most fitting antique decor, Libertines was finally opened to the public on Monday 25th July. Libertines, featuring a unique and eclectic style inspired by the barber shops of the late 18th century, presents a vast array of quirks and oddities, including authentic antique workstations dating back to 1896, an almost 100 year old Tambour rolltop desk, antique oak and leather waiting chairs, a collection of vintage prints, photographs and paintings and a belfast sink. The salon provides various services for gentlemen of all ages and products used are also available to purchase. Libertines also offer gift vouchers and all beverages are complimentary. Appointments are a good idea but walk-ins are most welcome too. ADDRESS:
