Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference.

The mum guilt is real.

There’s this constant battle in my head between wanting to build my business, wanting to work hard… and wanting to slow down and just be their mum.

And sometimes I feel guilty for wanting both.

The truth is, being a working mum is hard. There are days where I feel like I’m absolutely smashing it and days where I feel like I’m failing at everything.

There are days I’m working and wishing I was with them, and days I’m with them thinking about everything I need to be doing for work.

I don’t think we talk enough about that constant battle.

So if you’re a mum who feels like this too… you’re not doing anything wrong.

You can be ambitious and still want to slow down.
You can love your career and still miss your children.
You can want more for yourself and still feel guilty about it.

It’s okay to admit that it gets hard.

I’m learning that I don’t have to choose between being a good mum and being a successful business owner.

I just have to find a way to make both parts of me fit into the life I’m building 🩵
