GLASS SKIN ✨
A term we’ve never really loved…
yet clients keep saying it.
“My skin looks like glass.”
So let’s talk about it…
Working with skin every day, we’ve always associated “glass skin” more with a beauty trend than a measure of healthy skin.
The term came from Korean beauty, describing skin that looks beautifully smooth, clear, hydrated and luminous.
But somewhere along the way, social media took it to another level 😂
Glass skin is NOT a ring light bouncing off an oily face.
It’s not layers of product until your skin looks like a glazed doughnut 🍩
And it’s definitely not poreless, textureless skin — real skin has both.
For us, it’s simply…
Calm skin.
Beautiful hydration.
Smooth, healthy texture.
A strong skin barrier.
And that natural glow when the light catches it ✨
Now that’s the kind of “glass skin” we can get behind. 🤍🙌
There’s something magical about a bridal skin journey.
Six months of working with the skin, building it slowly, strengthening it, nurturing it… and watching all that work come together.

Hard to believe this is after just ONE treatment…
No lighting.
No filters.
Just natural skin.

Look at the difference.
Golden Radio Frequency with a focus on GRF needling, finished with Dermalux LED — plus a little fascia release, one of my favourite things to incorporate when working on the face and skin.
And the thing is… I see results like this a lot.
Skin is my passion, but understanding what sits beneath it matters too. 🤍

Just a few highlights from today’s DIBI Milano Skin Event 🇮🇹✨
Lots of skin scans, DIBI Milano facials and plenty of chat around skin barrier, sensitivity, ageing skin, peptides, bio-fermented collagen, PDRN and all things skin.
