Today we installed a brand-new VLS3.60DT 60W laser system and had the chance to admire the newly designed arm cover... and we have to say, we're impressed! 👏

Not only does it provide much better visibility of the laser during the cutting and engraving process, but from a service engineer's perspective it's a great improvement too. The more streamlined design makes key components much easier to access, helping to simplify maintenance and servicing.

⚡️ Monday Morning Call-Out – VLS3.50 Desktop System ⚡️
Started the week out at a school following an electrical power surge, which unfortunately caused significant damage to their VLS3.50 desktop laser system.
Surges like this can do a lot more harm than people realise — affecting everything from the control boards, power supplies and CPU, right through to the laser cartridge itself. After carrying out a full inspection and testing, the system has sadly been deemed beyond economical repair due to the extent of the damage.
It’s a good reminder of just how important proper surge protection is when running this kind of equipment — it can save a lot of cost and downtime in the long run.
