**Dear The Hair Bothy,** 🌿

Six months ago today, I opened your doors for the very first time.

I remember the excitement, the nerves, the doubts and the huge feeling of *“I really hope this works.”* I had a dream in my head, and somehow, six months ago, that dream became a little place with four walls, a door and a name.

But you’ve become so much more than that.

You’ve become a place filled with laughter, conversations, creativity, friendships, cups of tea, busy days, quiet moments, hard work and so many wonderful people.

And perhaps the thing I’m proudest of is that you’re not just **my** salon.

You’re a place where talented, self-employed stylists have chosen to build their own businesses. People who have taken their own leap of faith, put themselves out there and created something for themselves.

To every stylist who has walked through your doors, whether you’ve been here from day one or joining us along the way — **thank you.** 🤍

Thank you for trusting me enough to become part of this little community. Thank you for bringing your talent, your personalities, your clients and your own little piece of magic with you.

Watching you all grow, support each other and build your own businesses has made me realise that creating The Hair Bothy was never just about creating a salon.

It was about creating a **space where people could feel they belonged.**

And to every client who has sat in one of those chairs, supported one of the stylists, recommended us to a friend, left a review, shared a post or simply walked through the door — thank you.

You may not realise it, but every booking and every kind word has helped make this dream possible. 💚

There have been moments over these six months when I’ve questioned myself, wondered if I’d made the right decision and felt completely overwhelmed.

But then I walk into The Hair Bothy, look around and see what we’ve created…

…and I feel incredibly proud.

Proud that I took the chance.

Proud that I believed in the dream.

And most of all, proud of the people who have helped turn that dream into something real.

So, **happy 6 months, The Hair Bothy.** 🥂

Here’s to everything you have already become, everyone who has been part of your story, and all the people who are still to walk through your doors.

The first six months have been a chapter I will never forget.

And I have a feeling the best chapters are still to come. 🌿🤍

Men United SCIO
Monthly meeting at the Hair Bothy. All males aged 18+ are welcome. Refreshments are available. Don't be a shy guy! Come meet the lads at 7:30pm.

You know, it’s nearly six months since I opened my little salon (I still can't believe it's mine).

I’m so shocked and proud of how it’s come along.
