A few things we REALLY need to stop being impressed by in aesthetics… 👀

A huge following. A celebrity client. The longest treatment menu. Being able to say you’re “fully trained and insured.”

Some of these things are great. Some should simply be standard. But none of them, on their own, tell you whether someone is a great aesthetic practitioner.

For me, the things that matter are much less exciting to put in an Instagram bio 😅

Integrity. Good judgement. Experience. Consistent results. Client safety. Knowing your limits. And being confident enough to say NO when a treatment isn’t right.

And while we’re at it… someone else doing well doesn’t mean there’s less success available for you 🤍

Aesthetics might be a busy industry, but there’s room for practitioners who care about what they do, keep learning and build a reputation people genuinely trust.

Whether you’re a fellow practitioner or someone looking for an aesthetic practitioner in Huddersfield, look beyond what sounds impressive on Instagram.

The things that actually matter often aren’t the things with the biggest numbers attached to them.
