Sycamore Lodge

We are looking for a kind, caring and dependable Night Care Assistant to join our team at Sycamore Lodge. As a small residential home caring for just 17 residents, our staff are able to get to know each resident personally and provide care in a kind, warm and supportive environment.

THE ROLE

Providing personal care while maintaining residents dignity, privacy and independence.
Assisting residents with washing, dressing and toileting and other personal care needs where required.
Supporting with meals, drinks and mobility.
Spending time talking to residents and encouraging social interaction.
Observing residents wellbeing and reporting and concerns or changes to senior staff members or management.
Completing appropriate care records.
Helping maintain residents bedrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
Working together with colleagues to create a happy, positive and welcoming atmosphere within the home.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Kind, patient and genuinely interested in supporting our older community.
Reliable and able to work well as part of a small team.
Respectful of residents individual wishes, dignity and independence.
Willing to undertake appropriate training and development.
Previous care experience welcomed, although applicants with the right attitude and willingness will be considered. All successful applicants must be registered with social care wales or willing to be placed on the register.
