You might think your biggest skin concern is pigmentation. But what if your skin needs something else addressed first? 👀

It's easy to look in the mirror, identify something you'd like to improve and immediately start searching for a treatment.

But at RAYA, we want to understand your skin before deciding what comes next.

That's where our BT-analyse tool comes in.

This handheld device helps us assess aspects of your skin's condition, including hydration, sebum and elasticity, giving Sam additional information to consider alongside her professional assessment.

Because the concern you can see isn't always the only thing worth paying attention to.

You might be focused on uneven texture, but your skin's hydration could also need support.

Or you might be investing in products for oily skin without fully understanding its current condition.

The BT-analyse doesn't diagnose skin conditions or make treatment decisions for us. It's another way of gathering information so we can have a more informed conversation about your skin.

And when we combine that with your skincare routine, concerns, history and goals?

We can build a plan around what your skin actually needs - not just what you think you should book.

Because great skincare starts with understanding. 🤍

POV: You've waited all summer to start this treatment… 👀

And now it's time to give your skin a little extra attention.

Microneedling is a treatment we love for its ability to work with your skin, stimulating its natural repair response and encouraging collagen production.

But here's what we really want you to know:

The results aren't instant. And that's the point.

Microneedling is about gradually improving the quality of your skin - from uneven texture and the appearance of acne scarring to fine lines and overall skin smoothness.

As your skin repairs and remodels, improvements can develop over the weeks and months following treatment.

That's why we often recommend a course rather than a single appointment, with the number and spacing of treatments tailored to your skin.

And while autumn can be a convenient time to begin, SPF and appropriate aftercare remain essential all year round.

So if microneedling has been sitting on your treatment wish list, consider this your reminder to find out whether it's right for you. 🤍

Your skin is trying to tell you something. Are you listening? 👀

A sudden change in texture.

Breakouts that seem to appear out of nowhere.

Skin that feels tight, sensitive or irritated when it never used to.

Pigmentation that's become more noticeable after summer.

It's tempting to respond by adding another serum, trying a stronger active or buying the latest product everyone's talking about.

But not every skin concern needs another product.

Sometimes your skin needs more support. Sometimes it needs a simpler routine. And sometimes there's an underlying concern that needs a closer look before we decide on the right approach.

That's why we always want to understand what's happening before deciding what to do about it.

At RAYA, we look at your skin, your current routine, your concerns and the changes you've noticed...

Because two people can experience similar symptoms for completely different reasons - and what works beautifully for one person's skin might not be appropriate for yours.

The goal isn't to throw everything at your skin and hope something works, it's to understand what it needs and make informed decisions from there.

So if your skin has been behaving differently lately, consider this your reminder to listen before you react. 🤍

It's not just about how you feel during your treatment. It's about how you feel afterwards, too. 🤍

We love this review of Vix's lymphatic drainage massage because it highlights something that's so important to her approach: making sure you feel informed, supported and confident in your care.

Your appointment isn't simply about the time you spend on the treatment bed.

Vix takes the time to explain what she's doing, answer your questions and share personalised guidance on what you can do at home between appointments.

Understanding your body and knowing how to support yourself is an important part of the experience. Hearing that this lovely client left feeling lighter and soothed? That's wonderful feedback to receive. ✨

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Vix.

Booked a massage with Vix? Here's how to make the most of your appointment. 🤍

A little preparation before your treatment - and a little care afterwards - can help you feel comfortable and get the most from your time at RAYA.

Before you arrive, keep things simple. Hydrate as you normally would, avoid a particularly heavy meal immediately beforehand and wear something comfortable.

Most importantly, keep Vix updated on anything that could affect your treatment. Whether that's a change in medication, a new injury, pregnancy, recent surgery or a health concern, it helps her tailor your appointment appropriately.

And afterwards?

There's no need for complicated rituals or excessive amounts of water.

Continue your normal hydration, allow yourself some time to rest if you need it and follow any personalised advice Vix gives you.

If you've booked a lymphatic treatment, gentle movement may also feel beneficial afterwards.

Every treatment is tailored to you, and your aftercare should be too.

Save this checklist for your next appointment, and if you're ever unsure about anything before your visit, just get in touch. ✨

The reset was just the beginning. Now we rebuild. 🤍

September was about getting your skin back on track after summer.

Reassessing.
Repairing.
Getting back into a consistent routine.
Understanding what your skin actually needs rather than throwing every treatment and product at it at once.

But once those foundations are in place?

That's when we can start thinking about what's next.

Autumn is the season we love for focusing on longer-term change - whether that's stimulating collagen, improving skin quality, addressing pigmentation or beginning a treatment course that works progressively over the months ahead.

Rebuilding isn't about doing more - it's about doing the right things consistently.

The right treatments.
The right homecare.
The right maintenance.
And a plan that evolves as your skin does.

So as we head into October, we're moving from reset mode into rebuild mode.

If there are changes you'd genuinely like to see in your skin over the next few months, now is the time to start planning them.

Book your consultation and let's work out what your next chapter looks like. ✨

Don't forget the neck. 👀

It's one of the areas we see clients invest far less attention in than their face - yet it's often one of the first places we start to notice changes in skin quality.

The skin here is thinner and can begin to show signs of ageing through crepiness, loss of firmness, fine lines and changes in texture.

Which is why, at RAYA, we don't believe your skincare or treatment plan should suddenly stop at the jawline.

Pictured here is our BioTherapeutic neck mask, allowing us to extend our technology-led treatments beyond the face and give this often-forgotten area some attention too. 🤍

Because the most natural rejuvenation comes from looking at the bigger picture.

Face. Jawline. Neck. Décolletage.

Not treating each area in isolation, but creating harmony between them.

So this is your reminder…

Whatever you're doing for your face, don't forget your neck. ✨

Your skin doesn’t need a quick fix. It needs a long-term plan. 🤍

We understand the appeal of booking a treatment when your skin suddenly feels dull, tired or not quite itself.

And while one treatment can absolutely give your skin a boost, real, lasting change rarely comes from dipping in and out of appointments whenever something starts bothering you.

The best results come when we look at the bigger picture.

A course of treatments when your skin needs progressive change.

Maintenance appointments to protect the results you've worked for.

The right homecare supporting your skin every single day.

Consistency rather than constantly starting again.

And importantly, adapting the plan as your skin changes.

At RAYA, we'd always rather create a considered plan than recommend treatments for the sake of filling your diary.

Sometimes we'll do more, sometimes we'll do less, sometimes we'll change direction completely - but there will always be a reason behind it.

Courses. Maintenance. Homecare. Consistency.

That's where the real skin transformations happen. ✨

If you're ready to stop guessing what your skin needs next, book a consultation and let's create your long-term skin plan.

3 things I wouldn’t do to my own face as an aesthetics practitioner… 👀

After years of working with faces, skin and the ageing process, there are a few things I feel pretty strongly about.

1. I wouldn’t chase every new treatment trend.

New doesn’t automatically mean better - and just because a treatment is all over Instagram doesn’t mean it belongs in your treatment plan.

I’m much more interested in treatments that make sense for your anatomy, your skin and what you’re actually trying to achieve.

2. I wouldn’t treat one feature without considering my face as a whole.

Faces aren’t a collection of individual parts.

Cheeks, jawline, chin, skin quality, facial support…they all influence how the face looks together.

For me, good aesthetics is about balance and harmony, not spotting one area you dislike and immediately trying to “fix” it.

3. I wouldn’t wait until I suddenly felt like I’d aged before investing in my skin.

This is a big one.

Looking after your skin, supporting collagen and thinking about how your face is ageing doesn’t have to begin when something starts really bothering you.

I’d much rather take a proactive, regenerative approach - supporting what we already have, maintaining skin health and making small, considered decisions along the way.

That doesn’t mean having more treatment.

Often, it means doing less, but doing the right things at the right time.

That’s the philosophy behind how I treat my own face - and exactly how I approach every face that comes into RAYA.

No chasing trends.
No treating features in isolation.
No changing what makes you look like you.

Just a long-term, considered approach to ageing well. 🤍

This is exactly how we want you to feel when you leave RAYA. 🤍

Not different.

Not “done”.

Just more confident, refreshed and still completely you.

Sam’s approach has always been about looking at the bigger picture - listening to what’s bothering you, assessing your face or skin as a whole, and recommending what she genuinely believes will give you the most natural, balanced result.

Our goal at RAYA isn’t to change the way you look, it’s to help you feel really good about the person looking back at you. ✨

Thank you for such a lovely review - and for trusting us with your face. 🤍
