Charlotte and I have spent the last couple of days in London, immersing ourselves in all things intimate wellness.
As midwives, women’s health has always been incredibly important to us. And I find it staggering that in 2026, so many women are still suffering in silence with things they’ve been told are simply part of getting older.
But there’s something else we’re equally passionate about. Raising standards in our industry.
At Blush, we invest an enormous amount of time, money & energy into our education. Not because we have to, but because our clients deserve it.
We’re not interested in offering every new treatment that comes onto the market. We want to understand the science, question the evidence and know when something is genuinely going to benefit the person sitting in front of us.
Because knowing how to perform a treatment is one thing. Knowing whether you should is quite another.
I’m incredibly proud of the team we’re building & the standards we hold ourselves to.
We don’t want to be the clinic that offers everything.
We want to be the clinic you trust with everything.
And if that means spending our days off talking about vulvas in London, then so be it 🙌🏽
Intimate wellness deserves a bigger conversation 🤎
Tomorrow, Charlotte & I are heading down to London for the Intimate Wellbeing Advancing Practice Symposium , a day dedicated to education, evidence, practical learning & advancing the way we care for women.
This is an area of Blush that we’re really passionate about growing.
Because intimate wellness isn’t just about aesthetics. It can be about confidence, comfort, pelvic health, changes after childbirth, hormonal changes, ageing, sexual wellbeing & things women often quietly put up with because they assume they’re “just part of being a woman.”
They’re conversations we’ve had countless times throughout our careers as a midwives, and they’re conversations we want women to feel completely comfortable having at Blush.
So this trip is about learning, asking questions, looking at the evidence, meeting people working at the forefront of this area & making sure that, as we expand what we offer, we do it properly.
Charlotte & I will be taking you along with us tomorrow… London, here we come 🫶🏼
And I have a feeling intimate wellness is going to become a much bigger part of Blush.

If you’d told NHS midwife me that one day people would want to interview me about the business I’d built, I’d have laughed at you 🤯
But here we are, being invited on a podcast & it turns out that accidentally building a business gives you quite a lot to talk about!
We talked about Blush & why I’ve always been so particular about how we do things.
I know what it feels like to look in the mirror & notice things changing. I’m 43. I have things I’d quite like to lift back up too 💁🏻♀️
But I also really bloody like getting older.
And I never want a woman to come into Blush and leave thinking she had ten things wrong with her face that she hadn’t noticed before.
I want you to tell me what bothers YOU. Then we’ll talk about what might actually make a difference, and sometimes I’ll tell you to do absolutely nothing.
That’s probably not the greatest sales technique, but it’s how I’d want to be treated.
And I think that’s why so many of you trust us 🥰

This one means a lot 🤎
Sal runs , a wonderful local community. She recommended to come to us, booked an appointment… and loved her experience enough that she went away and wrote an entire blog about it 🥹
What I love most is how honest she’s been. She talks openly about her experience, about the reservations she had beforehand, and about not wanting anyone reading it to feel like they should change their face.
Because that’s exactly how I believe aesthetics should be.
No pressure or convincing. No making women feel like there’s something wrong with ageing. Just honest conversations, good medical care and treatments that are right for you, if you choose to have them.
Being recommended is always special. Being trusted with someone’s face is even more so. But for someone to then choose to share that experience with her whole community? That genuinely means the world to us 🤎
And yes… the forehead is bloody lovely. 😂
So Sally's had her wrinkles sorted! We know that facial injectables aren't for all of you, so please feel free to scroll on, but Sally decided to take the plunge this year and is absolutely thrilled with the results.
Here in our latest Mumbler Blog Sally tells you all about her experiences as a total facial aesthetics virgin at Blush Medical Aesthetics and she's also managed to bag Mumblers an exclusive discount against all treatments at the clinic.

I’ve thought about this a lot recently.
Because Blush is changing. We’re moving into a much bigger space, adding more treatments, more technology & creating something I honestly couldn’t have imagined when I first started.
But I never want growth to mean becoming less US.
I don’t want Blush to ever feel corporate, intimidating or like you’re just another name on a clinic list.
I want us to know you. I want you to come in, make yourself at home, share your lives with us & know that the advice you get will always be honest.
Yes, the new clinic is going to be beautiful. Yes, we’re investing massively in what we can offer.
But the bit I’m most protective of is the bit you can’t buy, design or put into a treatment room.
The feeling of Blush. That’s coming with us 🤎

One of the things I’ve become much more aware of in my 40’s is that subtle loss of firmness around my jawline and neck.
And this is genuinely one of the treatments I’m most excited about at Blush right now.
I don’t want to add filler or volume to fix it. I don’t want to change the shape of my face. I just want things to feel a little firmer, tighter & more defined.
So Nurse Charlotte has treated my lower face, jawline & neck with HIFU. ‘High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, which we deliver at different depths to stimulate collagen & support gradual tightening & lifting of the tissues.
For me, this is where aesthetics is heading. Less about constantly adding things to faces & much more about skin quality, collagen & maintaining what we already have.
The best bit? HIFU works gradually, so I’m going to document my results properly over the next few months & show you exactly what changes. You generally need just a single treatment, every 12 months to maintain the results. There’s minimal downtime, so you don’t need to hide in the house afterwards & it’s a really safe procedure.
If lower-face or neck laxity is something you’ve started noticing too, you can book a consultation & we can talk you through the treatment.

It’s been a little while since I properly introduced myself… so, hi 🤎
I’m Rebecca, founder of Blush.
What started as a little aesthetics clinic has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. A place built around expertise, trust, natural results and genuinely caring about the people who walk through our doors.
Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or you’ve only just found us, welcome to Blush.
I’m so glad you’re here.

Ultimately, I don’t think my purpose is just to make people look better.
I want people to FEEL better for having walked through my door.
I want you to feel safe. Heard. Looked after. Completely at ease. Like you can trust me to do what’s right for you.
Anyone can learn techniques, buy machines, create a beautiful clinic, but you can’t fake genuinely caring about people.
And if this is how someone feels after being in my care, then I’m doing exactly what I set out to do 🤎
POV: you’re trying to open the biggest aesthetics clinic in Harrogate but your solicitor has stopped replying because apparently 47 emails before lunch is considered harassment 😏
At this point I’m not sure whether the next update will be:
🔑 WE HAVE THE KEYS!!!
or
🚔 Rebecca has been remanded in custody.
The glamorous behind-the-scenes reality of growing a business that nobody puts on Instagram 😂
I know I keep saying we’re nearly there… but genuinely, we are.
Please send keys. And possibly bail money 🤎
