Lee Irwin, 57

Lee has faced more than most will in a lifetime.
He served 10 years in the elite Parachute Regiment, followed by 20 years managing a children’s care home. He later worked in high-risk roles:
▫️ Anti-piracy team leader in the
Indian Ocean
▫️ Bodyguard to the Saudi and
Brunei royal families
▫️ Personal protection officer for
Liverpool FC

Despite his physical and mental strength, PTSD followed him for years after military service.
Then, in February 2019, his world changed again.
While riding his 1000cc Kawasaki, Lee was involved in a major crash.

🧠 The bike’s wheel struck his
head. He was in a coma for a
week.
⏳ Lee woke up believing it was
1988.
🔍 He had at least 10 brain bleeds,
triggering terrifying PTSD
symptoms.

Lee became trapped in an altered reality, where he experienced:-

• Extreme paranoia and flashbacks
• Violent and erratic behavior
• Delusions: he believed snipers
were outside, and that he was
characters on TV
• At one point, he believed he was
Spider-Man, and tried to jump out
of a window
• After watching Ted, he became
convinced he was Ted, running
through hospital corridors causing
chaos

Security, and even police had to guard his room. He made multiple su***de attempts. His wife and family were at breaking point.

He found help through Headway Liverpool and Sean’s Place in Bootle, but progress was slow. He lived with daily mental distress and the feeling that he’d never return to himself.

The Turning Point – May 2025
Lee’s wife encouraged him to try PEMFiT.
Lee was skeptical, he didn’t believe in alternative therapies. But he agreed to go with an open mind.

December 22, Leigh age 41 and a father of 2, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Oesophageal Cancer and given 8 - 12 months to live.

Luckily for Leigh, he has an amazing fiance who wanted Leigh to stick around a bit longer than that! Jess's functional medicine doctor recommended that Leigh uses PEMF alongside the traditional cancer treatments to assist with his body's own healing mechanisms.
He specifically recommended the machine that we use at PEMFiT.

Leigh first contacted me 2nd May 2023, since then he has been coming for regular pulsing sessions every week with breaks for holidays etc.

Bearing in mind that Leigh's '12 months' were up December 2023, his scan on 30th Jan showed that the main tumour now showed only a thickining on the Oesophagus and the most recent scan and his latest scan 'no increase in size for any of the cancer sites, the oncologist did say that he could use the word remission in this situation as it’s been 6 months'

Leigh is back at work full time, happy and healthy experiencing no symptoms whatsoever.
