I was literally just 18 years old when I first started renting a space in a salon, and by 21 I had opened my very own salon.

Fast forward 8 years and I’ve now had my own salon for 5 years, we’re onto our second premises, and somewhere along the way I also had a beautiful baby boy.

Sometimes I actually forget that I BIRTHED A WHOLE HUMAN and was back at work just 2 weeks later. 😂When you’re constantly so busy, always thinking about the next goal, the next thing to improve and comparing yourself to everyone around you, it’s so easy to overlook just how much you’ve actually achieved.

You spend so much time looking at where you want to be that you forget to stop and appreciate where you are.

So, this is your reminder to me — and maybe to you too — to actually take a second, look back and be proud. Because when I really think about it… 18-year-old me would be pretty amazed at where we are now. 🤍

And to every single client who has been here along the way, through every salon, every change, every chapter and every milestone — I appreciate you more than you will ever know. You’ve played such a huge part in allowing me to build the life and business I have today, and I’ll never take that for granted. 🥹🤍
