The Terminally Ill Teacher

Some days are exhausting. Physically and mentally. I'm not giving up and I'll keep fighting 💪

We went off the curriculum but a fantastic activity with a young person with autism who loves big numbers.

Life is difficult with school phobia but we can all learn in the right place at the right time.
I've only a short time left to teach and every moment like this reminds me while I'm still doing this job. 🥰

A reluctant reader finding a place to read.

Sometimes it's hard to stay in the now. However it's a skill I'm working hard at. Love and happiness are moments. Life is a series of moments. If I can live in the moment I can hold back the anger, sadness and fear. I am able to be salient of my mortality and find peace and reconciliation.

And every day seems filled with a little more joy. I shall miss birdsong, good coffee, girly phone conversations, fluffy socks, getting lost in a book....pleasures are simple.

So little time and so many books to read. Today's purchase. A long time since I've read D.H.Lawrence. perhaps I'm trying to recapture a little of my past.
