Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at the ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians) Show at Alexandra Palace, London.

We showcased a selection of our finished hair products, alongside the tools and techniques used in the production of our stock. We were fortunate to share a space with some incredibly creative and talented professionals, whose knowledge and experience within the WHAM sector was truly inspiring.

The English National Opera WHAM team provided fascinating demonstrations on the art of wig knotting and hand-tied weft making, while also displaying a stunning collection of wigs from recent productions.

It was also wonderful to hear from Jade Buffong of Curls, Coils & Care, whose pioneering work helps provide children and families with access to education and guidance on the correct care of textured hair.

The Royal Ballet and Opera was represented by Hermina Chance, who delivered an insightful workshop and talk on working with textured hair in theatre.

A special thank you to Annette Ollerearnshaw, who did an outstanding job of creating an environment that celebrated and showcased the talent, skill, and passion of those dedicated to the theatre industry.

It was a fantastic event, and we were delighted to be part of such a knowledgeable and supportive community.
