Drop Dead Gorgeous was relocated to a new premises at 24 Station Road in August 2021, it's two doors up the hill from Costa. This is a perfect location with plenty of parking nearby. The salon has been refurbished from top to bottom with a fresh and inviting, modern decor. Sam Jarvis opened Drop Dead Gorgeous in September 2010 working from a room in the basement of Hair Underground, which is further along Station Road. When the salon beside the station became available in Jan 2014, I decided it would be an excellent opportunity to move to a larger and much more peaceful and relaxing environment. That salon soon became too small for all at DDG and in 2021 another opportunity arose to move to an even larger premises. A wide range of beauty treatments are available including:
- builder gel nails
- manicures, pedicures
- microblading and digital brows
- skin tag removal
- blemish reduction (milia, moles, warts, verruca, blood spots)
- Environ and Dermalogica facials
- waxing
- massages
- eyelash extensions

All therapists are fully trained in all areas of beauty therapy that are offered. You can call the salon to make an appointment on 01474 704630 or if you prefer to come down and see us, we will be happy help with any questions you may have. FROM 2010 → 2026 🤍
Sadly I don’t have pictures from 2010 as I don’t believe I owned a decent smart phone 😂 But who remembers when Drop Dead Gorgeous looked like this…
DDG started out a very different version of the salon we call home today. Back in 2010 it was just Sam working alone out of Hair Underground.
In 2014 we moved to our next step, spent 8 brilliant years there before we outgrew it and got a little bigger again!
Then, on 2nd September 2021, we opened the doors to our current home.
Five years later, we’re still here. Still growing. Still learning. Still adding new treatments. Still meeting amazing people.
And we couldn’t have done any of it without you.
So this September isn’t just about celebrating us.
It’s about celebrating YOU 💛 the clients who have supported us since the beginning, those who have joined us along the way and everyone who’s walked through our doors over the last five years. 🥂
