✨ A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME…

Hairdressing has been such a huge part of my life. I’ve been hairdressing for 32 years, and 19 years ago I took a very big step and opened my own salon, Halo.

Looking back, I feel incredibly lucky and proud of what we’ve created. I genuinely love my job and still get such a buzz from creating beautiful colours and styles for my clients. What makes it even more special is that so many of my clients have been with me for years and have become much more than clients — they’ve become friends, and some feel more like family.

I’ve always believed that you never stop learning, so I love going on courses and keeping my skills and knowledge up to date. I’m passionate about all aspects of hairdressing and love learning new techniques, discovering new trends and, most of all, making people feel amazing when they leave the salon.

But Halo has never just been about me. I honestly couldn’t have built the salon I have today without the incredible stylists and apprentices who have shared the journey with me. I’ve been so fortunate to have some amazingly talented people work alongside me, and many of them have become very special friends.

There have been so many memories, laughs, challenges and proud moments over the years, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single one.

After 32 years in hairdressing and 19 years of Halo, I can honestly say I still love what I do. I feel very proud of Halo, very grateful for the people who have been part of its journey, and incredibly thankful to every client who has supported us along the way.

Here’s to all the friendships, memories and fabulous hair still to come. ❤️

Hi, I’m Jenny! 👋🏼

I’ve been part of the Halo team for 12 years now, which honestly doesn’t feel possible! ✂️

When I’m not in the salon, I love keeping fit and being active… although my favourite thing to do is probably spending time with my little cockapoo, Bobby 🐶🤎 She definitely keeps me busy!

I also want to say a massive thank you to all of my lovely regular clients who have supported me throughout the years. 🥰 I’m so grateful for every one of you and all the chats, laughs and memories we’ve shared along the way.

Welcome to the kitchen cupboard of questionable life choices 😂

Years of birthdays, nights out, staff photos, random nonsense and photographic evidence that should absolutely have been deleted… but somehow made it onto the cupboard. 🤣

Some of us look great.
Some of us clearly peaked around 2014.
And some photos raise the question… WHO ALLOWED THIS?! 😭😂

This cupboard has witnessed more drama than the salon floor, survived more nights out than we can remember and contains enough blackmail material to keep the team behaving… mostly. 👀

It’s not a trophy cabinet.
It’s not a memory board.
It’s basically the Halo HR department’s worst nightmare. 😂

Hi I’m Charlie I’ve been at halo for almost 3 years now as an apprentice not only have I been trained by all of the amazing team my love for hairdressing has grown so much because of each and everyone of them 🩷 Which has made me more confident in myself and have never been more excited to become a stylist 🥳

I love to keep myself busy with quite a lot of hobbies, dancing 💃🏼, padel 🎾, and the gym.

What’s my guilty pleasure !!
Making Lego and watching gossip girl I must have rewatched it atleast 10 times pretending I don’t know how it ends 🤣

I’m Louise and I’ve been at Halo from the very beginning (nearly 20 years 😳)
I’m lucky enough to be one of the few people that can say I love my job, so it never feels like work!
I’ve built strong relationships with my clients over the years so it feels like a catch up with a friend when you sit in my chair and I look forward to the next instalment of what’s going on in your lives!
There’s no better feeling than watching your clients leaving the salon with great hair and knowing you made their day 🥰

✨ A little bit about me… ✨

Hi, I’m Shannon! 👋🏼

I’ve been qualified for over 15 years now (which honestly doesn’t feel possible 😂) and I’ve actually been part of Halo for around half of my life!

I first came to Halo for work experience, then started doing a few Saturdays… and somehow, all these years later, I’m still here! 😂

I absolutely love what I do, especially creating blondes, lived-in colour and transformations. There’s nothing better than seeing a client look in the mirror and say “I LOVE IT!” 🥰

A few things you might not know about me…

🤎 I’m a mum to two boys, so life is never boring! 😂
☕️ Tea is definitely needed to keep me going
🐶 If I wasn’t a hairdresser, I’d probably be a dog/animal sitter, I’d happily spend all day surrounded by animals! 😂 (Wilms in the photo isn't actually my dog 🤭)
✨ I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to your hair
💬 And I love a good chat, my clients definitely get their money’s worth when it comes to talking! 😂

I feel so lucky to have been doing a job I genuinely love for over 15 years, and even luckier that Halo has been such a huge part of that journey. 🤎

I would absolutely LOVE to be a forensic scientist! 🔬🕵🏽‍♀️ I can’t get enough of anything crime-related or a good psychological thriller!

The Vampire Diaries! I must have watched the whole thing through about 20 times 🙈😂
