Not all skin is created equal… and understanding yours is more important than you might think! 🤍

Did you know there are 6 different Fitzpatrick skin types? Each one responds differently to UV exposure, depending on your natural pigmentation and how easily your skin burns or tans.

☀️ TYPE 1 – Very fair skin, always burns and doesn’t tan.

☀️ TYPE 2 – Fair skin, burns easily and tans minimally.

☀️ TYPE 3 – Medium skin, sometimes burns and gradually tans.

☀️ TYPE 4 – Olive or light brown skin, rarely burns and tans easily.

☀️ TYPE 5 – Brown skin, very rarely burns and tans readily.

☀️ TYPE 6 – Deeply pigmented skin, rarely visibly burns.
