Our Signature Facelift using dermal filler takes a whole-face approach to facial rejuvenation. It is particularly suited to clients with a combination of concerns, allowing us to address volume loss, facial balance and definition together.

This gives us greater scope to create a refreshed, lifted and more harmonious appearance while maintaining a natural-looking result.

Sometimes, treating only the area we notice most isn’t enough to create the best overall result. By looking at the face as a whole, we can understand the different factors contributing to those changes and treat more strategically for a balanced, refreshed and natural-looking outcome.

Now that we’ve addressed the underlying structural concerns, the next stage of this client’s treatment plan will focus on skin quality. She will progress with a series of advanced skin treatments designed to improve overall skin health, texture and luminosity, while helping to soften superficial lines.

By treating both the deeper structural changes and the skin itself, we can work towards a more comprehensive and refined result over time.

You may have noticed that we’ve been getting booked up further in advance lately, particularly for aesthetic treatments with George — something we’re incredibly grateful for.

With that in mind, we’re pleased to share that Shaun will soon be undertaking comprehensive training to offer a small selection of our standard aesthetic treatments, with George continuing to provide clinical oversight throughout.

This will mean more availability, greater flexibility and less time waiting for an appointment — all while maintaining the high standards of care you know and expect from us.

And don’t worry — Shaun will still be offering his existing skincare and semi-permanent makeup services. We’ll simply be slightly reducing our general beauty services, which will now be available as add-ons only.

We’re really excited about this next step and can’t wait to share more with you soon. 🧡

Shaun takes on a number of roles that help keep Park Road Practice running as smoothly as possible.

From answering enquiries, managing bookings, stock, prescriptions and follow-ups, to marketing and social media, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes every day.

You’ll also find Shaun carrying out consultations, skincare treatments, beauty and semi-permanent make-up services, as well as preparing for and assisting with our aesthetic appointments.

It’s a real mix of clinical, creative and administrative work — but all of it plays a part in making sure every client feels looked after from their first message to their appointment and beyond.

A lot goes on behind the scenes, and Shaun is usually somewhere in the middle of it! 😅

By all means, do your research before having a treatment — in fact, we encourage it.

Ask questions. Read. Learn. Understand your options.

But when you choose us, you’re also choosing our knowledge, our training, our experience and our professional judgement.

And part of that means being open to what we have to say about the treatments you’re considering — including when we recommend something different to what you originally had in mind.

Google doesn’t know your face. TikTok hasn’t assessed your anatomy. ChatGPT hasn’t examined you. And the doctor with 100k followers isn’t standing in the room with you.

We are.

Our advice is based on you — your anatomy, your goals, what is realistic, what is safe, and what we believe will give you the best outcome.

Research is valuable. Being informed is important.

But there’s a reason you chose a qualified professional in the first place.

Some stay with you for years. Some move on. And some are passing through in search of a result that, realistically, may never be attainable — and that’s okay.

What we’ll never do is make a treatment out to be something more than it is. We won’t promise perfection, sell unrealistic expectations or tell you what you want to hear just to secure a booking.

We’re human. We’re constantly learning, constantly refining and constantly trying to be better at what we do.

Not every treatment will be right for every person. Not every result will look the same. And sometimes the most professional thing we can say is, “this might not give you what you’re looking for.”

We’d rather be honest about what’s achievable than promise something we can’t deliver.

Because in an industry that can sometimes sell perfection, we’d rather offer honesty, experience and realistic expectations.

This beautiful lady had been considering semi-permanent makeup for quite some time. Following chemotherapy, her brows never fully returned to how they once were, leaving her having to draw them on whenever she wanted to go out — something that can become both time-consuming and frustrating.

After a thorough consultation, we chose a very soft, subtle microblading approach. Delicate hairstrokes were created using a light blend of Tina Davies Professional pigments in Harvest Blonde and Taupe, gently restoring shape and definition without making the brows feel too heavy or unfamiliar.

As they heal, the colour will soften by up to around 40%, leaving an even more natural result. At her review, we can then add a little more density if she feels ready.

Sometimes treatments like this are about so much more than brows. It can simply be about helping someone feel a little more like themselves again.

Our gorgeous client has been consistent with her skincare appointments every 4–6 weeks for over 12 months, focusing mainly on our combination facials.

Her treatments have included medium-strength peels, advanced microneedling, targeted serums and LED therapy, adapting the approach as her skin progressed.

This photo was taken fresh after her latest treatment, so you can see some post-treatment erythema and glow — but just look at the overall condition of her skin. Smooth, clear, hydrated and healthy.

Everyone’s starting point is different, as is our approach, but the key here is consistency.

Results like this come from the right treatments, regular appointments and good homecare. 👌

We wouldn’t think twice about booking our hair every 6–8 weeks or keeping on top of our nail appointments, because we know they need regular maintenance to stay looking their best.

So why do we tend to treat our skin differently?

We often wait until it feels dry, congested, dull or just “not right” before we book a facial, when really our skin benefits from the same kind of consistency.

Your skin is constantly changing with hormones, stress, weather, lifestyle and the products you’re using, so regular treatments help keep on top of those changes rather than waiting until there’s a problem to fix.
