THIS SATURDAY 🚨 .pastry is providing us with a coupla trays of vegan cinnamon buns (£3). We’ll provide the coffee (£5 for both). If this goes well we might do it again. See you there 🙂↕️xo

Introducing our incredible new site manager: Vic Henderson! They’ve already brought so much to their role at GCS: you’ve probably had a giggle with them or seen their smart handiwork around site. We are buzzing they are a part of the team.
“My name is Vic and I am from Glasgow. Over the years I have spent my time playing in bands, cooking, making furniture and drinking coffee. I love cooking outdoors on an open flame and I am always fine-tuning my bagel recipe. I enjoy kicking about on old 90s mountain bikes and taking photos with classic point and shoot cameras. I grow vegetables to cook with in my allotment too.
One of the first times I went in a sauna was not long after my top surgery. The lochside sauna we used was booked out for a small group of friends, and we spent three hours alternating between the amazing wood fired sauna and the ice-cold loch. It felt like nothing I had experienced before and ignited my love for saunas.
I’ve followed the journey of Glasgow Community Sauna with a lot of enthusiasm and have enjoyed watching it come together with the support of the community and its volunteers. The work of the GCS aligns with many of my interests, like community project work, making, building and meeting interesting people. The sauna and its great atmosphere is a special place for everyone - guests and staff!”
🏳️⚧️ Trans+ Tuesdays! 🏳️⚧️ Every second Tuesday. One of the founding community sessions at GCS. We actually first started this project by collaborating with , bringing our wee pop up sauna tent out to their camp in 2025. This month Trans+ Tuesday is on 15th and 29th September. See you there 🏳️⚧️

Special Sessions
This September, we are launching Women’s Wednesdays and Men’s Monday, joining Trans+ Tuesdays.
First women’s session is on Wednesday 9th September at 20:15, then Wednesday 30th at 20:15.
Men only session Monday 21st!

Welcome to whisking! 🌿 We love making wee bundles of birch leaves from the trees on site, soaking them in water and using them for aromatherapy, massage and exfoliation. Bring some with you next time you’re down for a special wellbeing treat, you’ll feel amazing 💖

Rain or shine (or both… and everything in between) 🌦️☔️🌈🌞 come sauna with us this weekend! We’ve got big sauna and horsebox open this eve from 5pm, all day Saturday and Sunday. Big love to our stunning sauna models xoxo
