Permanent makeup is a 2-step treatment process, and healing is such an important part of the journey. Once your brows have healed after the first appointment, we assess how your skin has retained the pigment. Some areas may heal lighter than others, which is completely normal, and this is exactly what the top-up appointment is for.

With this client, she was really happy with both the shape and colour, so we simply refreshed the areas where the pigment had faded slightly to create a more even result.

One thing to remember is that your healed brows will always be softer and more natural than they appear immediately after treatment. The freshly treated brows are not the final result. As they heal, the colour softens beautifully, leaving a natural enhancement rather than a heavy makeup look.

Every person’s skin heals differently, which is why the top-up appointment is such an important part of achieving your final result. 💛

This lovely client didn’t want to change the shape of her brows at all – she simply wanted a little more colour and definition.

Keeping as close to your natural brow shape as possible almost always creates the most natural-looking results and is also the lowest maintenance option. Trying to change the shape too much can sometimes make brows look less natural, whereas my aim is always to enhance what you already have, not completely change your face.

We achieved this with a combination brow using delicate hairstrokes and soft shading to create a fuller, natural-looking result while still blending beautifully with her own brow hair.

She wanted natural-looking brows with a bit more shape and definition, while still keeping them soft. Her skin was a little sensitive during the treatment, so they look slightly red – the redness will settle down within a few hours. ❤️

These brows will also heal a little softer and lighter, and we can make any adjustments at the top-up if needed. Less is always more! ✨

This lovely client was really nervous that microblading would look too bold or obvious for her. She wanted a subtle enhancement that would give her more definition while still looking like her own brows.

She was absolutely over the moon with the results and loved how natural they looked!

One of the most common questions I get asked is whether clients can still go out in public after their appointment. Many people worry their brows will be very red or extremely dark, but for most clients this simply isn’t the case. While brows do appear slightly darker initially, they are designed to soften and heal lighter over the following weeks.

My goal is always to create brows that complement your features and look natural, so you can leave your appointment feeling confident and excited about your new brows 🤍

Combination brows are a mixture of microblading hairstrokes and soft shading, creating a beautiful result that is still natural but a little bolder than hairstrokes alone.

This treatment is particularly great for clients with thicker brow hair, as the shading helps everything blend together seamlessly while still maintaining a soft, natural appearance.

These brows will heal slightly lighter than they appear today, and we can always add more depth or darkness at the top-up appointment if desired. I always prefer to take a less-is-more approach initially, as it’s much easier to build colour than take it away.

What a difference a set of natural hairstroke brows can make! 😍

My client already had lovely natural brows, but they were quite light and lacked definition, particularly through the tails where they were starting to disappear. Using microblading, I was able to create realistic hairstrokes to enhance her natural shape, add definition and give the brows a fuller appearance while still keeping them soft and natural-looking.

The brows will heal lighter and softer, but you can already see how beautifully they frame her face and enhance her features. 🤍
