I'm a mum, a realist, and someone who believes self-care shouldn't feel like a full-time job. I’ve spent years putting everyone else first, and like so many women, I lost sight of how to look after myself. What I share here is my way back - simple, honest self-care that fits real life. You’ll find quick tips, no-fluff routines, and real experiences with products I actually use. I talk about the good, the bad, and the “that totally didn’t work for me”, because I believe you deserve skincare and beauty that make sense, not marketing hype. This space is all about:

It’s only the 15th of September… and I’m already on 12%. 🤯
I genuinely wasn’t expecting that.
Between some crazy sales, all the new product launches and quite a few new faces joining my VIP group and my Farmasi team, September has gone a little bit mad. 😂
And apparently the new products are pushing all the right buttons amongst my girls… because I’m definitely not the only one getting excited about them!
But more than anything, I just wanted to say thank you. 💗
To everyone who has ordered, joined my group, recommended me to a friend, commented on a post, asked me a question or decided to give a try through me — it all adds up.
And we’re only halfway through the month… with more still to come. 👀

It’s International Beauty Day today, so here’s my beauty confession… 💄
If there’s ONE thing I’d put on before leaving the house, it’s a bright lipstick or bright lip gloss.
Forget the tired eyes, dark circles, skin not behaving or hair scraped into a messy bun… put a bit of colour on your lips and somehow that’s what people notice first. 😂
Honestly, I think a bright lip is one of the easiest tricks in the book. Takes 10 seconds and I instantly feel more presentable.
No full face needed.
So tell me yours… if you could put on just ONE beauty product before running out the door, what would it be?
Would you put garlic on your head if it helped your hair grow? 🧄😂
Well… I do. And yes, it DOES smell. 😁

Farmasi? Oh God, not another MLM. 🙈
That was pretty much my first thought when my cousin called me in January 2023 to tell me Farmasi was launching in the UK.
But after Covid, I'd somehow turned into a grey little mouse who lived in joggers, and I'm pretty sure the face cream on my shelf was older than Sam. 😂 I needed something to give me a kick, so I bought the starter kit. 🙈
And, against all expectations… I fell in love. ❤️
Not with MLM. With Farmasi.
A brand with over 75 years of history, its own development and manufacturing, and everything from makeup and skincare to haircare, body care, fragrance and wellness.
I loved that the products combined natural extracts with modern active ingredients without the ridiculous price tags.
But most of all, I loved how it made self-care feel simple again.
I started wearing makeup, looking after my skin, experimenting with new things and, most importantly, enjoying the person looking back at me in the mirror again.
Three years later, I'm still finding new favourites, sharing what I've learned and getting a real buzz when something I've recommended helps another woman feel good about herself too.
And somewhere along the way, that grey mouse in joggers became Jackie Simple Self Care – and Farmasi brought some genuinely amazing women into my life. 😂❤️
