This may sound mad but I’m moving to a new premises whilst also having to temporarily reduce my hours. So now I’m looking for a barber who can work independently to look after my existing clients and develop the Busking Barber Co. brand, focusing on growing the team and managing the shop alongside me.

There’s a few more changes to come for Busking Barber Co. and although it means a slightly different schedule for me temporarily, it’s all part of getting things in place for what comes next.

For the time being, I have had to further reduce my hours. I’ll be working weekends only, but I’ll be opening up extra Saturday hours as well as Sunday appointments to accommodate as many of you as possible.

This is only temporary. Once the new schedule is underway, I’ll be able to start introducing weekdays and some evening appointments again.

I’m also planning to bring another barber into Busking Barber Co. to provide additional availability during the week. This will give both new and existing clients another option if my temporary weekend schedule doesn’t work for them.

The good news is I’ll have a new premises this November! I’ll be officially leaving Avenue Tennis at the end of the month and building the new space.

I can’t reveal the new location just yet, but I’m really excited about what it means for Busking Barber Co. and I’ll share it with you as soon as I can.

There’s a bit of juggling to do in the meantime, so thank you for bearing with me while I get everything into place and, as always, thank you for keeping me busy and supporting the brand. 🧡

Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who continues to support me and the brand. Your loyalty genuinely means a lot!

Due to a change in personal circumstances, I’ll be temporarily reducing my working hours while I focus on some personal responsibilities. There’s a few changes but some exciting things happening.

The barber van concept is on hold for now, but I’m currently awaiting confirmation on a new space for the business. Until then, I’ll continue operating from Avenue Tennis (now David Lloyd).

I’m also looking to bring another barber in very soon to take care of regular opening hours, look after new clients and help me to continue growing the brand.

My Temporary working hours from October:

Monday: 10am – 2:30pm
Tuesday: 10am – 2:30pm
Friday: 10am – 2:30pm
Saturday: 9am – 4pm

I’ll be looking to bring back evening appointments ASAP and potentially open one Sunday a month for those most affected by the changes.

I personally don’t plan to take on any new clients for now so I can prioritise my existing loyal clientele that have supported me from the get go.

I’ll also be offering rolling appointments for anyone who can commit to a regular slot, so we can get your trims locked in.

I get that these changes won’t suit everyone, and I apologise for any inconvenience. Please drop me a message if you’d like to arrange a regular appointment or have any questions about how we can work something out.

Though slightly inconvenient, the changes are temporary and it makes way for some exciting plans I have for Busking Barber Co. I’ll keep you posted as the updates come. 🙌 👀

Busking Barber Co. is aiming to hit the road this November with a premium mobile barbershop, and I’m looking to partner with businesses across the local area.

I’m looking for locations such as:
• Supermarkets
• Gyms
• Retail parks
• Industrial estates
• Business parks
• Office locations
• Anywhere with regular footfall

The idea is simple: I’ll visit on set days each week, providing a convenient barber service on-site. In return, your business, staff and customers will benefit from exclusive offers and discounts, adding value without any hassle.

Months of planning coming together nicely! 💈🚐

The Busking Barber has been one of my main focuses over the last five years. I’ve experienced some amazing highs, learnt from the lows, and evolved through every challenge I’ve faced as a small business owner.

The new look and slight change in name represent what the brand has become as a collective. This has never been a one man band. None of this would have been possible without the loyalty of my clients and the support of everyone who has played a part in building it. I’m incredibly grateful to each and every one of you.

As the business continues to grow, I’m excited to take things back to where it all began. Time to hit the road again.

The mobile barbershop returns at the end of this year with a renewed focus on convenience, quality service, work/life balance, and incorporating music back into the brand. I’ll be running things a little differently this time around, building on what worked and refining what didn’t to create a service that benefits us all.

For now, it’s business as usual at Avenue Tennis. Any future changes to appointments and the way you book them will be announced once everything is in place.
