After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that Thursday 30th July will be my final day working from my Caol, Fort William studio.

I’ve been coming to Fort William since 1994, starting out by doing mobile home appointments. During those early years I met some amazing people, many of whom became friends as well as clients.

Over the years I went on to run and work in three different salons. I had the pleasure of working alongside some wonderful beauty therapists and nail technicians, and among those I remember most fondly are Mary, Liz, Fiona, Inessa, Inga and Sarah.

Those early days were great fun, although they involved a huge amount of hard work as I built my business from scratch. Looking back, I have so many happy memories.

Now, after 32 years, I’ve reached the point where the long drive from Invergordon to Fort William is becoming too much. As I’ve got older, I’ve realised it’s time to remember to enjoy life without the stress of distance to work.

I’ll still be working several days a week from my Invergordon studio, continuing my summer cruise ship tours with Thistle Excursions, and during the quieter winter months I’ll be focusing on my new business, Pendragon Hypnosis.

To every client who has supported me over the past three decades, thank you. You’ve been part of my journey, and I’m incredibly grateful. Perhaps I’ll see some of you in Invergordon in the future.

I’ll miss my time in Fort William, but every chapter eventually comes to an end.

After 32 wonderful years… it’s time.

With love and thanks,

Maxine
