Katie has had her Calico hair for a year now and we have played around with different variations of colour along the way, and although it was eye catching, cool, on trend and a real statement, it wasn’t where her heart really lied, so it was time for a change, but this was going to be no easy task.
Some people will say well course it is, just shove a colour on top and it will be fine, but for me “fine” just isn’t good enough, why should it be?
So the starting point is to balance, which means lifting out dark we no longer want and prefilling the blonde to add warm tones back in, why? Because we don’t want khaki brown and dull reds.
Results….balanced, shiny, vibrant and worthy of the head that wears my colours
Creative colours are priced ar £60 per hour and roughly take 4/5 hours

Today I was my own guinea pig and I absolutely love the results!
Im always interested to find different ways to colour, changing up foil patterns to see what results it gives and although it’s definitely easier to do it on a head not attached to my shoulders sometimes you just need to be the one who is being experimented on, (after all I use and abuse my sister enough.) Thankfully the experimenting paid off and I’m thrilled with the outcome.

That’s exactly what Emily asked for, a soft blonde that popped at the front but didn’t look separate from the rest of her hair.
Maintaining a blonde like this requires very little effort if you are using the correct home care, and the grow out is so soft you get to enjoy all the stages until you sit back in my chair again and wonder if it even needs doing.

Can this be my hair please?
I absolutely love formulating new colours to try and mimic your inspo pics. It’s like my own little magical cauldron whisking together a special potion to not only make your hair as unique as your personality but to really give the wow factor too.
Would you say this is dusky pink or dirty pink?or something else entirely?

Sitting in my chair and saying time for something new is always my fav. Long and blonde to a dimensional brunette. Mid length bobs are so on trend for autumn and I am absolutely ready for it!
