And there’s a very good reason why.
This patient already had a beautifully defined vermilion border. Adding filler there simply because it’s part of a “standard lip technique” wasn’t necessary.

Lip enhancement shouldn’t be about injecting every area possible — it should be about assessment, restraint and knowing when to leave beautiful anatomy alone.

For this patient, I focused on the body of the lip, restoring volume and improving proportion while preserving her natural border.
Because I’m not looking at lips from just the front either. The side profile matters. Projection, balance and how the lips sit alongside the rest of the facial features are all part of creating a result that doesn’t look overtreated.

Meet Dawn 🤍
Her goal was simple: she wanted to feel fresher, lifted and restored, but she still wanted to look completely like herself.

We started her journey with two sessions of Sculptra, taking a regenerative approach to gradually improve support, firmness and volume. Once this had been given time to develop, we used small amounts of dermal filler through the cheek area to replace specific areas of volume loss.

No dramatic change. No chasing every line.

Just a carefully planned journey focused on regeneration, restoration and maintaining Dawn’s own features.

And I think this is such a lovely example of what modern aesthetics can look like. 🤍
