My pigment hasn't held...does that mean the artist did something wrong?"

Not necessarily.
As PMU artists, we absolutely have a responsibility to use the
correct technique, depth, needle choice and pigment for the skin
in front of us. But even when everything is done correctly,
retention can vary massively from person to person.

We're working on living skin, not a piece of paper.
Skin type, oil production, texture, lifestyle, healing, aftercare and
your individual skin response can all influence how much pigment is visible once everything has healed

This is also why I never judge a treatment immediately after the
first session.
The healed result tells us so much more. It shows us how that
particular skin has accepted the pigment, where it has retained
well and where we may need to make adjustments at the
follow-up.

Sometimes poor retention IS down to technique and as artists,
we need to be able to recognise when that's happening.

But poor retention doesn't automatically mean poor technique

Three things you should know about Powder
Brows:
1. It takes two sessions to complete your brows. You come back 8
to 10 weeks after your initial session to add more color and make
any other adjustments O
2. We can't make the brows perfectly symmetrical, but we can get
them pretty darn close
3. You might need laser removal eventually. This is because we
want to keep creating space in the skin for new pigment (once
every 5-10 years) A

why am I looking for models? ❓️

during the PMU procedure everything must be clean and sterile. Setting up the phone, taking off and putting on gloves takes time.

Unfortunately I don't have that much time on a daily basis,also not all of my clients agree to publish photos.
