ππ A Very Special Double Celebration! ππ
Today we had the pleasure of celebrating two very special occasions. We marked Lornaβs 60th birthday, a fantastic milestone for a truly wonderful lady. Lorna is kind, caring, supportive, and always brings warmth and positivity to those around her. She is loved by colleagues and clients alike, and her dedication, sense of humour, and compassionate nature make her a valued member of our team. Reaching 60 is something to be celebrated, and no one deserves it more than Lorna. We hope she had a fantastic day surrounded by friends, family, and lots of cake! ππ
We also took the opportunity to say goodbye and thank Sharon as she leaves the company to begin a new chapter. Sharon has made a real difference during her time with us, and we are incredibly grateful for all of her hard work, commitment, and support. While we are sad to see her go, we wish her every success and happiness in the future.
Thank you both for giving us such a lovely reason to come together and celebrate. Here's to special milestones, wonderful memories, and exciting new beginnings! π₯β¨

π World Alzheimerβs Month - The Herbert Protocol π
As part of World Alzheimerβs Month, we are raising awareness of the Herbert Protocol, an important tool designed to help keep people living with dementia safe. The protocol is a simple form that records vital information about a person, including their routines, interests, important contacts, and places they may visit. If they go missing, this information can help Police Scotland respond quickly and effectively.
Did you know that there are currently an estimated 982,000 people living with dementia in the UK, and this number is expected to rise to 1.4 million by 2040? More than a third of people living with dementia do not yet have a diagnosis, highlighting the importance of planning and support for those affected.
Completing a Herbert Protocol form takes only a short time but could make a significant difference in an emergency. We encourage families, friends, and carers to take a look at the information provided by Police Scotland and consider completing the form for added peace of mind.
β
If you have completed a Herbert Protocol form for yourself or a loved one, we'd love to hear from you. Please let us know in the comments or send us a message. By sharing your experience, you can help raise awareness and encourage others to take this simple but important step.
Please see the link below to find out more and access the Herbert Protocol. π
