She’s been through a lot recently, so we decided it was time for a change… and wow, she is on fire. 🔥 I’m obsessed with this look on her.

This is my gorgeous client Natalie, and to be honest, we’re on a bit of a hair journey together with a goal in mind. 🤍

Progress isn’t made in one sitting, and I think that’s something people often forget. Good hair takes time, and I’m so excited to keep working towards the end result with her.

I always love when Natalie comes in because we end up talking about all things girl mum life, kids, and everything in between. We’ve got so much in common, and I’m genuinely so glad you chose me to be your hairdresser.

From her very first haircut to her very first colour, it’s such a privilege to be the one doing these little milestones for her.

From holding her at just 5 days old to now doing her hair in the salon… where has that time gone? Shhh, she’s basically a little model already, the sass is unreal 💁‍♀️

Being a boy mum is the best, but I absolutely love getting my little dose of girl time through all my friends’ daughters 🫶

From his first steps to his next big step in life.

As my firstborn gets ready to start P1, I’ve found myself feeling emotional about how big this milestone really is. It’s the beginning of a whole new chapter for them, and potentially the next 11 years of their life.

It has also made me realise just how much pressure parents can feel under at this time of year. Wanting to make sure your child has everything they need school shoes, trainers, bags, jumpers, trousers, PE kits, socks, pants and all the little things in between can be overwhelming, especially with how expensive everything has become.

As someone who grew up in East Lothian and attended local schools, I know that many families are doing their absolute best right now. No parent should have to choose between essential bills and helping their child feel ready and confident for school.

So this weekend, I’d love to give something back to my community.

I’m offering free haircuts for children in P1–P3.
