BALLERINA BRIDAL for the effortlessly beautiful DIANA// all the way from the US who married her love at Greywalls hotel in East Lothian. Such a lovely calm morning - thank you so much for having me you looked sensational!
As always no edits / no Facetune / no fancy cameras / only real clients and just pics on my iPhone. In a world of intagram pages where all I am seeing is heavily edited work & models pretending to be real brides I promise you’ll get full transparency on my page always!

There’s a magic to the morning of a wedding that I could never tire of. Being trusted to be part of those hours, with the bride and her bridesmaids during bridal prep and watching the most special moments unfold, is such a joy.
I’m now booking 2027 and 2028 weddings across East Lothian, Edinburgh and beyond. If you’d love me to look after you and your girls, get in touch. 🤍

As always ZERO filters or edits used on my page. Understanding colour theory and colour correcting techniques in my opinion is one of the most important parts of makeup artistry.
The first pic is my most extreme example from a few years ago when this lovely bridesmaid had got into a rounders accident a few days before her best friends wedding - I was able to create a beautiful finished look neutralising the problem areas so she could feel confident walking down the aisle.
The second pic is an image I could have picked out hundreds of times - you can bet when your stressed your skin might flare up so having an artist on hand how to correct and conceal texture is so important. My top tip is if you have any breakouts do not pick as if the blemishes are open it makes it so much harder to cover but a bit of texture is totally fine to correct & conceal. I achieved pic 2 by colour correcting first and building up light layers of product so that the finished result didn’t look cakey and instead just blended in seamlessly with the rest of the face.
Other situations are when you’ve been up all night with nerves and are so dark under your eyes - you want to know that I can make you look like you’ve slept 9 hours! Or neutralising redness to feel your best is another common concern.
Makeup has to survive hours of photography, dancing, eating and changing light! Getting the base right so that it looks brilliant from ceremony to late into the night is so important. Email [email protected] or follow the link in my bio to book.

EILIDH// the professional pics from Ross Alexander are just SO stunning and show the makeup beautifully. You were such a dream bride - thank you for having me at your gorgeous family home in morningside we had the best time! Full of emotion and you felt like a true friend. When clients are like this sometimes I forget I’m not actually going to the party 😂🫢

If you’ve noticed me showing up a lot more lately, this is why 🤍
I love what I do. Being part of a bride’s morning, calming the nerves and helping her feel like herself on the biggest day, is something I’m really proud of. So I’ve stopped keeping it quiet.
My hope is that by being here more, I’ll be the first name that pops into your head when someone asks, “Do you know a good makeup artist?”
Life is busy, but I’m building something, and everything I do is for my kids. I hope they see the graft, and that it pays off for them one day. If nothing else, I want them to know that chasing your dreams is always worth it.
If you know someone who needs the nudge to post more, send this to them 🫶
2027 brides if you want natural but elevated glowing makeup that makes you feel like the best version of you I want to hear from you. My aim is to make you feel the best you have ever felt whilst looking after you on the morning of your wedding. 2027 is filling up and 2028 diary is now open. Email [email protected] or follow the link in my bio.
A little reminder for you and to myself 🤍✨
