How lucky am I that I get to do a job I love so much? 🥹

Not everyone gets to say they genuinely enjoy going to work, but for me, doing hair is my happy place and an escape from everything else.

I truly care about your hair just as much as you do. Whether it’s seeing your cut finally sit perfectly, achieving your dream colour, starting a journey to get your hair where you want it to be, or helping you find the right homecare products—I honestly love every part of it 🤍

Building this business has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but also the best thing I’ve ever done for my career.

There have been plenty of stressful days, things going wrong, mistakes made and lessons learnt, but the little wins every week make it all worth it.

Sometimes I forget that I started as a 16-year-old apprentice and now I own my own salon. We started with nothing and built it from the ground up, and now we’re at the point where Saturday appointments are be a 3-month wait 😆

The amount of care and effort that goes into The Hair Cove every single day is huge. Not just from me, but from Lisha and Isla too, who work so hard alongside me, and from all of our amazing clients who trust us with their hair and recommend us to their friends and family.

I’ve had to push myself way out of my comfort zone to create a salon that people love coming to and a place where stylists can grow and chase their own career goals.

It’s not always easy, but I know this is what I’m meant to be doing. And at the end of the day, I’m doing it for my little family too ❤️

A day in the life of a Wednesday 🥰

Appointments are filling up so fast and I’m feeling incredibly grateful for it.
If you’re needing an appointment in the next 3–4 weeks, please pop me a message to get booked in as availability is getting very limited.

✨ Next Saturday colour appointment: 28th March
✨ Next late-night appointment: 4th March

I do have a little more flexibility for cut & blowdries, however colour appointments are very limited. Unfortunately I can’t add any extra days at the moment.
