Autumn is one of my favourite times of year to really focus on your skin.

I’ve had such a wholesome week in clinic, which has made me reflect on how it’s more than an appointment for me and my patients 🤍

One of my favourite things about doing what I do is getting to know the women and men who walk through my clinic door.

Yes, we talk about skin, ageing and treatments… but we also talk about life.

Recently, I’ve had patients run the Sydney Marathon (at the amazing age of 69 May I add!!), complete the Great North Run, finish their degrees, start a new business, welcome their first grandchild and watch their daughter get married.

When you’ve looked after someone for years, you get to share in so many of these moments, and I genuinely love hearing about them. This week I’ve both laughed and cried with my patients.

Aesthetics is such a small part of what happens in that treatment room. For me, it has always been about the person sitting in the chair.

So this one is for my patients and all the brilliant things happening outside the clinic.

I’m very proud of you all. 🤍

A very special introduction 🤍

I’m so pleased to officially welcome Ashley as our new Clinic Manager at Signature Skin & Aesthetics, this feels particularly special because as most of you know, Ashley is also my sister.

As the clinic continues to grow, I knew I wanted someone alongside me who I trust completely, who understands the standards we work to and, most importantly, genuinely cares about the experience we give every patient who walks through our doors.

Ashley has a wealth of experience in administration and organisation and will be working behind the scenes to help keep everything running smoothly, support the day to day running of the clinic and help us continue to grow and develop.

Having my sister join the business feels like such a lovely next chapter for us, and I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead.

You’ll be seeing lots more of Ashley in clinic, and hearing from her on our socials, so please give her a very warm welcome.

True story…..

Tired eyes…..even when you’re not tired?

A day in the life of an aesthetics nurse & business owner…

Early starts, coffee, a quick walk and trying to get the house somewhat organised before heading into clinic, all while living through a renovation at the moment!

Then it’s into clinic for consultations, treatments, reviews and catching up with my patients, definitely the part of my job I love the most.

In between appointments there’s always prescriptions, bookings, admin and all the other little things that come with running a business, something I’m finally accepting some help with which I’ll update you all with soon!

Then it’s back home for family time, checking on the progress of the renovation, usually making another decision about tiles, paint, furniture… or something I didn’t even know needed deciding 🫠

Then skincare, bed and ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Life feels very full at the minute, but i wouldn’t have it any other way 🤍
