What a transformation 👏 😍 all hand crafted by Lunaverse Locs ✨️💕
Hand blended silvers 🩶🩵 by Lunaverse Locs
Created using a mix of different silver tones from the Cocktail Collection to give a beautiful blend of depth and dimension.
I added a mix of ariel waves, smoky icy silver tones, fishtail braids and dreadlocks to create plenty of texture and detail throughout the set.
Finished off with metallic silver caps and little touches of blue thread to tie all the colours together.
A little bit of everything in this one, and I love how it's all come together! 🩶

WHY are people STILL asking nail techs to do their nails for £25–£30?! 🤯
Seriously.
It’s 2026.
The cost of EVERYTHING has gone up.
Products have gone up.
Electricity has gone up.
Insurance has gone up.
Equipment has gone up.
Training has gone up.
Rent has gone up.
Yet somehow, people still expect a qualified nail technician to spend 2–3 hours doing a full set — sometimes including detailed nail art — for £25–£30.
Think about that.
Once that technician has paid their product costs, overheads, tax and all the other expenses involved in running a legitimate business…
what exactly are you expecting them to earn?
Because £25 isn’t £25 in their pocket.
You’re not just paying for a bottle of gel or a bit of acrylic.
You’re paying for YEARS of experience, education and practice.
You’re paying for professional products.
You’re paying for correctly maintained equipment.
You’re paying for hygiene and safety.
You’re paying for the technician who has spent thousands building their kit and developing their skills.
And most importantly…
YOU’RE PAYING FOR THEIR TIME.
We need to stop normalising ridiculously cheap nail appointments and then questioning technicians who charge enough to actually run a sustainable business.
If someone chooses to charge £25, that’s their business.
But please stop expecting every nail technician to match it.
A professional nail technician shouldn’t have to apologise for wanting to earn more than minimum wage after expenses.
It’s 2026. Why are we STILL expecting £25 nails?
