So many of us wish we'd understood more about menopause before we found ourselves in the middle of it.
What is menopause? What might you experience? When should you ask for support? And what options are available?
On Thursday 15 October, members of The Menopause Charity's Clinical Advisory Panel will be bringing their expertise together for Menopause: What Everyone Should Know, a live introduction to menopause.
We'll cover what menopause is, why experiences vary, when and how to seek support, treatment options, lifestyle, and how to prepare for a conversation with a healthcare professional.
It's for anyone who isn't sure where to start, is wondering whether what they're experiencing could be menopause, or simply wants to understand more.
Thursday 15 October, 7pm

Launching our new FREE guide to perimenopause and menopause 📖
Last year, following the success of Menopause Mandate’s MM40+ campaign, menopause was included in the NHS over-40 health check – an important milestone that we were proud to help secure.
But we also knew that one brief health check could never tell the whole story.
Through our work, we’ve consistently found that too many women are getting most of their menopause information from social media, while only a minority receive it from healthcare professionals.
While social media can offer support and shared experiences, it can also be full of conflicting advice and misinformation. Women deserve clear, trusted and evidence-based information.
That’s why we’ve created this FREE guide to perimenopause and menopause.
Written by Alice Smellie, with expert input from menopause specialist Dr Clare Spencer, Professor Kiara Lewis, and nutritionist Emma Bardwell, this easy-to-read guide covers:
✨ What happens during perimenopause and menopause
✨ Common symptoms
✨ HRT and other treatment options
✨ Lifestyle changes that can support your health
✨ Links to trusted, evidence-based resources
Our aim is simple: to make reliable menopause information accessible to everyone.
A huge thank you to 3Chillies for the beautiful design, and to for generously supporting this project and making this free resource possible.
Please download it, read it, share it and pass it on. Reliable information is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve women’s health.
