Dear sir/madam

My name is Sean Doherty, I am the founder of Team HOPE based in Derry. I am kindly asking for a brief moment of your time. The reason for my message to you today is we're calling on all businesses for support regarding an event we are holding in the 2nd of October at the Ebrington Hotel. The event is a black-tie gala which will be our 2nd one we have held but unfortunately tickets sales are very low with just 9 tickets sold and a minimum of 80 are needed in regards for this event to go ahead and we are reaching out to everyone to ask if they would be interested in attending the event or to please ask/share the event with anyone who would like to attend. Why is this event so important to us you might ask? Which would be a great question. Last year our first gala was held to raise money for the Children's Cancer Unit Charity but this year Team HOPE have been work on something so hard which we plan to unveil at this year's gala which will help bring children a lot of joy and comfort during hard times during illness and hardships and the success of this event will help be a key launching point for this project and we'd love & appreciate you to help play a part in making all this a success. If you're unable to attend or any of your colleagues, please can you pass this message on in our behalf to anyone who comes to mind. The Team Hope Gala
Where: Will be held at the Ebrington Hotel on the 2nd of October 2026
Time: 5pm to1am
Tickets: price is £60pp
Includes: drinks reception upon arrival, three course meal, entertainment and a chance to take part in our auction and raffle. Our entertainment will be provided by our two comical hosts Phily-it and Janers. Music by Jessica Doherty, Jay Coyle and Liam Melly.
