Sometimes, skincare alone isn’t enough. 🤍
This lovely patient first came to us in February after being diagnosed by her GP with severe pustular rosacea. She also lives with a gastrointestinal condition, so from the beginning we discussed looking beyond simply what we put on the skin.
Her OBSERV skin analysis showed significant inflammation, so our initial focus was on supporting and rebuilding her skin barrier with carefully selected topical products. But our consultation went much further.
We discussed nutrition, appropriate supplementation and lifestyle factors, particularly stress and sleep, all of which can influence inflammation and skin health.
Over the following seven months there were ups and downs, including a period of sun exposure and increased stress. We reviewed, adjusted her skincare where necessary, and she made some important lifestyle changes too.
Seven months later, the improvement is incredible, but what we love most is the difference in her confidence. ❤️
This is why we never promise that a product alone will “cure” a complex skin condition. Sometimes achieving healthier skin means looking at the bigger picture: skin barrier + internal health + lifestyle + consistency.
And being realistic about that is a really important part of every consultation we do.
