IHCAN magazine

Nick Thompson is back with his podcast; Canine Health in a New Light on Monday 28th September at 4:30pm UK time.

The next episode will feature guest Sophie Sparrow, RVN and Vet Physio.

With Sophie’s RVN background as Head Veterinary Nurse at ZSL (London Zoo), she has years of experience using low level Class 3B laser (Omega) and Class IV laser in her vet physio practice. She has now also qualified as a Vet Physio and has a special interest in rehabilitation.

With her interest to integrate Photobiomodulation in practice, Sophie got in touch with us in 2017 to ask if we could support her to take Photizo Vetcare out to Save Vietnam’s Wildlife where she volunteered to assist at the hospital with severe wound healing for rescued pangolins.

As a result of the improvements the SVW team observed, they updated their wound protocol to include Photizo application and Sophie left with the team the Photizo device which she brought with her.

Sophie is also one of the co-founders of AZEVN (Association of Zoological & Exotic Veterinary Nurses) and Photizo UK are a regular sponsor at their annual conference.
