I’ve been doing Gemma’s hair for years, so when she turned 16 and decided she wanted her very first colour, it felt like a big moment.

This lovely client came in wanting a trendy s**g cut and quite a bit of length off… but like a lot of people, she was a little nervous about going too short.

So instead of jumping straight into the exact inspo photo, we decided to go for a slightly longer version first, something that still gave her the change she wanted, but felt a bit softer and easier to get used to.

She absolutely loved it. 😍
